"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16
God demonstrated his love for you by sending Jesus to pay the penalty of all of your sins on the cross.
It is belief in Jesus that is essential to receiving God's forgiveness for your sins.
What do you believe in?
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”
– Revelation 3:20
Jesus wants to have a deep, meaningful relationship with you.
What is keeping you from welcoming Jesus into your life?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"
-Proverbs 3:5
What are you trusting in?
“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”
–Nahum 1:7
Those who love and trust God see the goodness of God. They will find comfort knowing that God cares. He knows our prayers, tears, wishes and desires.
What do you rely on during times of trouble?
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
-John 13:34
Have you received God's Love?
“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.” –Proverbs 24:16
The righteous may struggle in times of tribulation, but their love and faith in God will persevere. The wicked, who don’t trust in God, have a different destiny.
“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.” – Luke 6:35
Even though we were enemies of God, Christ died on the cross for us. We too are to forgive, pray and love those that do us evil. Not forgiving others is a serious sin which steals a person's joy and leads to a life of bitterness.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
-Isaiah 9:6
One way we know that the Bible is the Word of God is the fulfilled prophecies of the Old Testament. This prophecy about Jesus, written 700 years before Jesus's birth, gives the names of our Lord and Savior.
Not only does In-N-Out Burger have great burgers, but they also opened their doors the same year that Israel became a country back in 1948. Israel's statehood fulfilled an almost 2,800 year prophecy from Isaiah 66.
Jesus is the only way.
